There are just four more days to take part in this year’s Calgary Stampede and when it’s gone, it’s gone.

Officials say that close to 125,000 people headed through the turnstiles at Stampede 101 on Wednesday.

The attendance is off by about 14,000 over last year, but they’re hopeful that the good weather and popular events will bring in more people.

The popular Rodeo and Evening Show events are experiencing their second best sales year in the last decade organizers said in a release

"We have had two virtual reserved ticket sell-outs already," explains Jason Coxford, Ticket Sales Manager. "We anticipate that Thursday to Sunday will be very close to capacity."

Officials also say that their guest exit surveys show 82 percent of people had their expectations exceeded for the event, well above 2012 levels.

Standing room and day reserved tickets go on sale each day at 11 a.m. for Rodeo and Evening Show performances.
