A homicide investigation is underway after officers located the body of a man during a check on welfare call on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Lethbridge Regional Police Service, a deceased 29-year-old man was found inside a home in the 500 block of 19 Street North at approximately 12:30 p.m.
The identity of the deceased and the nature of his injuries have not been released. The LRPS continues to investigate the apparent homicide.
