Calgary police have laid another 14 charges against a Calgary man who was charged earlier this year with several child pornography offences.
Evidence obtained from investigating computers owned by Roderick ‘Kyle' Janssen, 35, has resulted in charges of sexual assault (x3), sexual interference (x3), invitation to sexual touching (x3), making child pornography (x3), and voyeurism (x2).
Janssen was arrested at his southeast Calgary home on Tuesday and remains in custody.
Police were notified after Janssen allegedly shared child pornography photos with an undercover FBI agent online.
Special investigators say they have identified four victims of Janssen's crimes.
"We may have other victims and for me the focus of this particular unit is to identify those other victims because there is a human factor here. There are children involved and we need to be able to get them the proper counseling because of the sexual content and because of their ages," said Staff Sgt. Steve Lorne from the Alberta ICE Unit.
