The names of the victims of a double homicide in the northwest community of Evanston have been released.
Autopsies have been completed and have confirmed the identities as 25-year-old Joshua Brendan Bamfo and 23-year-old Mahad Abdirahman Ainanshe of Calgary.
A person of interest taken into police custody on Sunday, April 22 has since been released without charges.
The investigation into the double homicide continues.
Police responded to the 0 to 100 block of Evanscrest Manor Northwest on Friday, April 20 around 3:10 p.m. for reports of gunshots.
Officers found two people dead in a vehicle.
