Brett Wiese and Lawrence Hong would have graduated from the University of Calgary this week had their lives not been cut tragically short.
Nevertheless, the institution honoured their memory by presenting family members with their posthumous degrees.
Brett Wiese was stabbed to death at a house party on Brisebois Drive in January 2013.
The Haskayne School of Business, where Wiese was studying for a Bachelor of Commerce, conferred his family members with a post humous degree on Friday.
The family members of Lawrence Hong were given his Bachelor of Arts degree earlier this week.
Hong was one of the five victims of a mass stabbing in Brentwood in April.
