Officials at Sunshine Village say it is snowing heavily at the popular ski resort in Banff National Park.
The mountain manager at the facility says it is dumping heavily and estimates that about 1 cm of the white stuff is currently falling per hour.
CTV Calgary’s weather radar is showing snow at higher elevations in the mountains and foothills.
The total snowfall for the 2012-13 season was 844 cm.
Sunshine Village is scheduled to open for the season on November 8, 2013.
