RCMP Forensic Specialists and Taber police are investigating an incident at a Taber home which claimed the life of one man.
At approximately 11:00 p.m. Friday, officers responded to a home in the 5200 block of 48 Ave. Police located an injured, unresponsive man on the floor of the residence and attempted CPR while awaiting the arrival of the dispatched EMS crew.
The man succumbed to his injuries inside the home.
A woman was located in the home and subsequently arrested in connection to the injuries the man sustained to his upper torso.
Police have notified the Medical Examiner of the man’s death and an autopsy is scheduled for Monday in Calgary.
The identity of the deceased has not been released but the Taber Police Service has notified the man’s next of kin.
