Three people, two men and a woman, are being sought by Calgary police because they may have information relating to a fire at the Shamrock Hotel this past summer.

On Tuesday, August 28, emergency crews responded to a huge blaze at the Shamrock Hotel, located at 2101-11 St. S.E.

All of the guests were able to escape from the building or be extricated by emergency personnel.

Damage estimates have been pegged at $1M.

Arson investigators, poring over hours of footage, have now located three people who were inside the hotel at the time of the fire and police are appealing to the public in locating them for questioning.
