The St. Paul RCMP detachment is asking for public help in locating a Calgary woman in connection to a June crash which claimed the life of a 49-year-old man and his 52-year-old common law wife.

27-year-old Fallon Jessica Ouellette of Calgary faces nine charges in relation to a Highway 28 crash near Mallaig, Alberta on June 30, 2014.

Ouellette’s vehicle is alleged to have struck a minivan causing the minivan to erupt in flames. Witnesses were able to remove a 12-year-old girl from the fiery wreckage but the girl’s father and his common-law wife did not survive.

Ouellette’s charges include:

  • Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Death (two counts)
  • Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Bodily Harm
  • Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle Over .80 Causing Death (two counts)
  • Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle Over .80 Causing Bodily Harm
  • Dangerous Driving Causing Death (two counts)
  • Dangerous Driving Causing Bodily Harm

The settlement of Mallaig is located approximately 200 kilometres northeast of Edmonton.
