The Wranglers dropped their third straight game in California Wednesday night, losing 2-1 to the Ontario Reign in front of 5,082 fans at Toyota Arena.

It was the first time this season that the team has lost three games in a row.

Following a scoreless first period, the Wranglers jumped ahead 1-0 on a power play goal by Sam Morton, on a setup from Sam Honzek.

Late in the second, the Reign tied it up on a goal from Shawn Element, and with 10 minutes left in the third, the Reign took a one-goal lead on a goal from Charles Hudson.

Ontario outshot the Wranglers 38-14.

The Wranglers are back home for six games, starting Friday night when they’ll take on the Henderson Silver Knights.
