Residents in Bragg Creek have had an opportunity to voice their concerns about flood relief. Thursday night, it was their turn for a town hall meeting.
The main concerns are the timing of the payments in the flood recovery program and the ongoing confusion around flood policies.
An official says the province appreciates the input, and that every community’s recovery is unique.
Calgary MLA Kyle Fawcett says one of the question people are frequently asking is, how the province will prevent the next big flood, and he says an expert panel is looking into that.
