Officials say they've knocked down a house fire in the southeast Calgary community of Cranston.

At about 8 a.m. on Tuesday, two vehicles caught fire outside a home on Cranberry Avenue S.E.

Calgary Police tweeted on Tuesday morning that they shut down Cranberry Avenue between Cranberry Road and Cranberry Circle S.E. so crews can deal with the blaze.

Once everything was out, crews found that two vehicles sitting in the driveway were completely destroyed while the home suffered minor damage.

The investigation is ongoing.
