The boys in black and white are back and are booked to bring their MONSTER World Tour to the Saddledome stage for Stampede.
KISS will be in Calgary on July 13 and will also play at the Enmax Centre in Lethbridge on July 10.
The iconic rock band still has a loyal following, even though Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley are the only original members still performing with the band.
“Bringing a range of music genres to the Calgary Stampede helps cater to the diversity of our guests,” said Paul Rosenberg, vice-president Programming, Calgary Stampede.
Shinedown, an American hard rock band, will open the show in Calgary.
Tickets go on sale to the public Friday at 10:00 a.m. and start at $59.
The 2013 Calgary Stampede runs from July 5–14, 2013.
