Calgary police are investigating a Friday night robbery of the McCall Lake Shell gas station during which an employee was confronted by a man brandishing a knife.

At approximately 8:15 p.m., two men entered the store in the 1500 block of 32 Avenue Northeast brandishing a knife. The suspects demanded cash and cigarettes and the cashier complied. The two men left the business without incident and no injuries have been reported.

The first suspect is described as:

  • A white male
  • Believed to be in his mid-twenties
  • Approximately 170 cm (5’7”) tall
  • Having a slim build
  • Wearing a black hoodie and a red toque

The second suspect is described as:

  • A black male
  • Believed to be in his thirties
  • Approximately 183 cm (6’) tall
  • Having a medium build
  • Wearing a dark hoodie and jeans

Investigators have not confirmed if the suspects left the scene in a vehicle.
