The Optimist Club of Calgary isexcited to host its annual Optimist Christmas Festival. Talented youth groups will headline an evening of award-winning music and seasonal favourites.
The Heebee-jeebees and A Band of Outriders will entertain in their usual witty style. Regulars returning to perform this year include the Calgary Stampede Showband, Calgary Stetson ShowBand and Calgary Round-Up Band.
As an added feature every year, they will highlight a different school and regional groups. Their guests this year are the John G. Diefenbaker High School Choir and the Holy Trinity Academy Concert Band from Okotoks.
You will not want to miss these talented young people. This festive evening is a great way to start your Christmas season.
