Mandy Stobo, a Calgary based artist, has created a t-shirt depicting the city’s mayor wearing a scuba mask in an effort to raise funds for the Red Cross.
Stobo’s shirts have raised more than $4,000 for flood relief in the first 12 hours of online sales.
The shirts are being sold for $20 each and an 18” x 24” print of Mayor Nenshi sporting goggles is priced at $30. The shirts are expected to be delivered by mail within two to three weeks (for sales in the Calgary area).
Scuba Nenshi is the latest in Stobo’s Bad Portrait Project.
The shirts are available at the Bad Portrait Projection website which includes a link to donation information for the Canadian Red Cross
