Some eagle-eyed Calgarians may have spotted Billy Bob Thornton in action in the city at some point over the last few weeks, filming for a new TV series.
‘Fargo’ is based on the hit movie of the same name, and tells the story of a desperate car salesman whose life unravels when the staged kidnapping of his wife goes wrong.
Thornton is in Calgary with other Hollywood stars like Colin Hanks, Bob Odenkirk, and Kate Walsh.
Calgary will double as one of the series' major settings for the next several months.
The series is tentatively set to air sometime in 2014.
