Calgary’s largest multi-sport facility says it will be open sometime in the middle of October, several months after it was closed due to flooding.

During the flood in June, two underground ducts in the Talisman Centre were damaged by flood waters to the point where they could not be repaired.

As a result, the old ductwork has been abandoned and new duct systems are being built to replace them.

To do this, the Talisman Centre is using a high ropes crew to install the new ducts.

They’re being hung from cable wires attached to the roof of the tent that houses the swimming area.

Currently, a series of ropes being hung and pulley systems are in place in preparation for the installation of hardware to hang the ducting.

Each section of ducting weighs about 500 lbs and is made out of aluminum to eliminate rusting.
