Calgary-based WestJet has cancelled a number of flights to and from Penticton because of some safety issues on the runway.
Officials say the problem lies with trees near the airport.
WestJet says they can block the runway lighting in the early morning and evening.
As a result, the airline has cancelled all flights using the airport at that time, but afternoon flights will not be affected.
Transport Canada has not made any comment on the issue.
