The Sochi 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Games gets underway from Russia in just a few days and the University of Calgary has set up a venue for Calgarians to enjoy broadcasts of their favourite events.
The Sochi Lounge in the Olympic Oval opens on Friday and athletes, coaches, parents and friends of Olympic team members will be in attendance for the opening ceremony.
The lounge is open weekdays from February 7 – 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is located on the lower level of the Olympic Oval, next to the skate shop.
Admission is free.
