ELECTION HISTORY
Calgary-South East was created 1959, was absorbed in subsequent redisgributions, and reappeared in 2010 in much the same area which had a very Tory background.
Art Johnson, who had held Calgary-Hays 2004-2008, tried for the nomination here and lost to Rick Fraser, who went on to win the 2012 vote and a tight 2015 vote.
Fraser went from being UCP to Independent, then in the Alberta Party, and lost in 2019 to UCP’s Matt Jones.
