More than two dozen firefighters fought the blaze that broke out in a trailer park in northeast Calgary.

The fire broke out at around 7:30 p.m. at the Chateau Estates Mobile Home Park. Crews arrived to find a lot of smoke in one of the units and flames in the attic.

One person inside the unit escaped and was assessed by paramedics.

The fire was challenging for firefighters due to the chilly temperatures. There is no word at this time on what the cause of the fire was.
