The City of Lethbridge is seeking public input for its River Valley heritage sites.

Residents are encouraged to participate in the River Valley Heritage survey. The brief online questionnaire on the city’s website looks to understand the ways community members use and value existing heritage sites and provide a framework for future heritage management work.

The survey is also part of the Indigenous-led plan to manage the site of the Battle of Belly River – an historic event recognized as the last major battle First Nations in Canada that took place in 1870 in Lethbridge’s River Valley.

The survey closes on Monday, Jan. 20.
