The flood warning has been lifted in Banff and Canmore and river levels in the area are dropping.

Phone and internet service has also been restored but the Trans-Canada west of the towns remains closed.

In Canmore, a meeting is planned for residents on Wednesday, June 26 at 4:00 p.m. at Boston Pizza for those people affected by the floods.

A boil water advisory is still in effect for Canmore and officials are asking people to limit usage.

In Banff, things are also returning to normal and the parking lot at Bow Falls has been reopened.

The farmers’ market will also go ahead on Wednesday in Central Park.

The Roam shuttle is running between the two towns every hour to shuttle residents back and forth and also to the Calgary airport.
