Man in serious condition after Saturday afternoon shooting
A man is in hospital in serious condition after what police believe is a targeted shooting on Saturday.
The man was found with gunshot wounds in a Seton condominium complex, in southeast Calgary, around 3 p.m.
Police say the man called to report that he had been shot. He was taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.
The man was found near a vehicle with a smashed out window parked partly inside a garage in the complex.
On Sunday, police initially said a shooting between two vehicles was reported in the area of Sarcee Trail and Stoney Trail around 2 p.m. However, in an updated news release Monday, police said a driver reported a shooting involving two vehicles on westbound Glenmore Trail, near 37 Street S.W. around 2:45 p.m. Saturday.
Officers believe the man was shot then, but they have not been able to confirm that or if the man was alone in the vehicle.
Sunday, CTV News spoke to Whitney Ottway, a neighbour who was out Saturday and returned home to discover 10 bullet shells inside her home.
The front of her house was barricaded by police tape, so police brought her around through the back.
"They said there are shells everywhere," she said. "You can't bring your car back right now. You need to go upstairs with us. We have to look through your house. We have to make sure no bullets got in through your bathroom or your kitchen."

"There was none thank God," she added. "And then that was pretty much it. I had to wait for them to get all the shells up from here and then I was allowed to have my garage back."
Ottway said the experience was shocking.
"I was scared," she said. "I was actually crying."
Police believe the shooting was targeted.
No details on a suspect or suspects have been released.
