Authorities looking for two southern Albertans missing in Montana say they’ve been forced to call off the search due to bad weather.

The Glacier County Sheriff’s Office says blowing snow and frigid temperatures forced them to suspend the search for two fishers believed drowned in Mission Lake.

Danny Heyland, 56, Kaz Hayashizaki, 63, and Fuki Nishibayashi, 75, were reported missing over a week ago after failing to return from a fishing trip.

Hayashizaki’s body was recovered from the lake.

The search will continue when the weather clears up.
