A 15-year-old boy is facing public mischief charges in connection to a series of attempted arsons at a southeast Calgary school in February.
Police launched an investigation after someone saw four males trying to light arrows and shoot them against the exterior of St. Isabella Elementary Junior High School on February 7th at about 5:45 p.m.
Investigators linked three similar incidents on February 12, 15 and the 23rd to the first and on Thursday, a 15-year-old boy was arrested and charged.
The youth is charged with four counts of public mischief and one count of shooting an arrow in a public place.
Police interviewed three other youths and they were released without charges.
Investigators say another incident at McKenzie Lake School on February 18th is not related.
