A man is in hospital in serious but stable condition after he was stabbed early Wednesday morning.
According to police, officers were called to the 1200 block of 17 Ave. S.W. just prior to 3:00 a.m.
Officers found the victim on a nearby sidewalk on 16 Ave. S.W. surrounded by a number of the man’s friends.
The victim was transported to hospital and police are speaking to witnesses.
Police describe the suspect as:
- Male
- Approximately 180 cm (6’) tall
- Olive coloured skin
- Wearing a dark touque
- Dark three-quarter length winter coat
