Police investigate after body found in Beltline parking lot

The body of a man was discovered in a parking lot in the city’s southwest on Tuesday morning and police have been called in to investigate.

Emergency crews responded to 1212 13^th Avenue S.W. at about 6:47 a.m. and found a body beside a vehicle in the underground parking lot of an apartment building.

The area was taped off by police and the Medical Examiner was called in to examine the body.

Police say the death does not appear to be suspicious in nature.
