Police are investigating an early morning shooting in the southeast community of Forest Lawn.
Shortly before 1:00 a.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of 42 St. S.E. following reports of gunshots. On arrival, police located a man, believed to be in his early twenties, with three bullet wounds in his chest.
EMS transported the man to Foothills Hospital in serious condition with injuries described as potentially life threatening.
An investigation into the shooting is underway.
