Calgary police say they are looking for a man wanted on warrants for fraud and they need the public’s help to track him down.

In March 2015, they say the suspect, Dallon Kyle Johnstone, 28, who may also go by the name Kyle Zirelli, made contact with a woman and convinced her to give him cash in exchange for a cheque.

When the woman took it to her bank, she was told it came back as non-sufficient funds.

The victim then attempted to find the man but was unable to do so and has since lost contact with him entirely.

Investigators say they have also received a number of similar complaints through unidentified tips where women are approached by a man they met on an online dating website and solicited for money.

Johnstone is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • Approximated 6’ tall
  • 200 pounds
  • Brown hair
  • Brown eyes

He has a tattoo on his right forearm of the words “West 2012”.

Anyone with information about Johnstone’s whereabouts is asked to call police at the non-emergency line at 403-266-1234 or by contacting Crime Stoppers through any of the following methods:
