Investigators are expected to learn more on Tuesday about what happened inside a home in Lake Bonavista that led to the deaths of two people.
On Saturday afternoon, emergency crews were called to the 12000 block of Lake Erie Rd. S.E. following reports that a man and woman were in cardiac arrest inside a home.
When emergency crews got there, they pronounced the couple dead at the scene.
Initially it was determined that the CPS Homicide Unit wouldn’t be investigating, but work at the home and the surrounding area became more intense on Sunday morning, with investigators bagging evidence and surveying the home and back alleyway.
Police are releasing few details about their investigation and have blocked off the home until it is completed.
They have not yet determined that either death was the result of a homicide.
The CFD has already ruled out carbon monoxide and air quality issues as contributing factors in the deaths.
The autopsies, scheduled for later on Tuesday, are expected to reveal more details.
