Calgary police are investigating after the body of an unidentified man was found in a northeast park on Saturday afternoon.
The Homicide Unit responded to the 5900 block of Madigan Drive N.E. on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. following the grisly discovery.
On Sunday, police returned to the park. and scoured the area for evidence.
The cause of the man’s death has not been released. According to police, the death of the man, who is believed to be in his forties, has been deemed suspicious.
An autopsy is scheduled for early this week.
