The charges are as follows:
- 4 counts of corrupt practice
- 4 counts of insubordination
- 1 count of unlawful exercise of authority
- 1 count of discreditable conduct
A trial date will be set on March 30, 2016. Freiter is currently on active duty.
The internal hearings were supposed to be public but were not listed anywhere, but since CTV’s original story back in September and through meetings with the Chief of Police, the hearings are now listed online.
