Family and friends of Shannon Madill-Burgess were in court Monday for the preliminary hearing into her death.
Madill-Burgess went missing in 2014, but her body was not discovered until seven months later.
Her husband, Joshua Burgess, was charged with second-degree murder in his wife's death after her body was found in the couple’s Ramsey home.
A publication ban on evidence is in place in the case.
The hearing will determine if there is enough evidence for the case to go to trial. It's scheduled for two weeks.
