Slippery driving conditions gave drivers plenty of headaches Friday morning.

During the morning commute, dozens of crashes were reported all over the city.

During one three hour period between 6 and 9 a.m. at least 20 crashes were recorded.

At one point during the morning, all of the city's three major roads, Deerfoot, Crowchild, and Glenmore, had multiple crashes on them.

Tow truck drivers spent the busy morning dragging smashed vehicles off the roads.

To the west of the city, the roads remain in poor condition between Calgary and Banff.

Highway-93 to Jasper remains closed due to avalanche danger.
