Once the snow stopped falling, Calgary ended up with 15 centimetres of snow.
There was a lot more snow north of Calgary - from Rocky Mountain House to Red Deer there was about 30 centimetres of snow.
While driving was treacherous in Calgary on Saturday, by Sunday the roads were relatively clear in the city, but highway driving was still dangerous.
The snow has stopped for now, but more flurries are expected Thursday.
