Calgary police have laid 40 drug-related charges against eight people after a month-long investigation.
Police executed search warrants at two homes and a business last Thursday.
At Subs N More at 311-17 Avenue S.W., they seized cocaine with a street value of nearly $54,000, marijuana, sleeping pills and a cocaine production lab.
They found about $400 worth of marijuana and nearly $50,000 in cash at a home in the 200 block of Everglad Circle S.W.
In the 300 block of Kincora Glen Rise N.W., officers discovered a cocaine production lab, some weapons, including swords and knives, and cash.
Kother Itani, 28, of Calgary, is charged with possession of a controlled substance, production of a controlled substance, proceeds of crime, four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and breach of a probation order.
Adnan Saleh El-Kaderi, 34, of Calgary, is charged with production of a controlled substance, proceeds of crime, and four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Mohamed Hussein Kadri, 19, of Calgary, is charged with production of a controlled substance, proceeds of crime, and four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Taher Elkadri, 18, of Calgary, is charged with production of a controlled substance, proceeds of crime, and four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
A Calgary youth is charged with production of a controlled substance, proceeds of crime, and four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Ho Dang Nguyen, 32, of Calgary, is charged with production of a controlled substance, proceeds of crime, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Siev Sang Tea, also known as Rachelle Susan Tea, 26, of Calgary, is charged with production of a controlled substance, proceeds of crime, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Lufti Itani, 26, of Calgary, is wanted on warrants for possession for the purpose of trafficking and proceeds of crime. He's described as a man of Lebanese descent, approximately 6' tall, weighing approximately 220 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes.
