A large gathering is planned in southeast to support the family of Nathan O’Brien, Alvin Liknes, and Kathy Liknes and pray for the trio’s safe return.
The candlelight vigil is being organized by family and friends and anyone wanting to show their support is invited.
Alvin and Kathy Liknes have lived in the community of Parkhill for a number of years and they were well liked among their neighbours.
During the course of their disappearance, neighbours have banded together and started a green ribbon campaign.
Many homes in the community have started displaying green ribbons tied to porches, gates, and fences to represent hope for their neighbours’ safe return.
The vigil, which takes place at Parkhill Community Centre, starts at 8 p.m.
