ContactVasco joined CTV News Calgary in May of 2016 as an overnight ENG videographer and has seen the night side of Calgary.
His broadcast career started in 2002 with Global Winnipeg and in November of 2005 he made the move to Calgary.
Outside of CTV, Calgary-based Vasco enjoys having adventures with his three loves Laura, Isabella and Taylor.
Vasco says they are his inspiration. "I wish to inspire and motivate my daughters so they can discover and develop their full potential. I will use my skill as a communicator to teach them. I will use my social skills to bring them closer to people. I will be their positive example."
Vasco speaks English and Portuguese. He is currently learning French to assist his daughter with her studies in French immersion school.
