City officials say that an emergency watermain break in northwest Calgary will be causing a big delay for commuters on Thursday.
14 Street N.W. is completely closed in both directions between Rosehill Drive and 24 Avenue.
They say the closure will affect the morning commute and repairs will continue throughout the day and could affect the evening commute as well.
Southbound traffic is being detoured along 10 Street to 16 Avenue N.W.
The closure is in effect until further notice.
