Police have located the body of a man who went missing after a house party in the Springbank area at the end of March.

Nick Lush, 32, was last seen leaving a party at a home west of Calgary in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 29, 2015 and was reported missing to police.

Police searched an underpass near Hermitage Road and Highway 1 after a witness saw two men assaulting another man and later said the incident was related to Lush’s disappearance.

On Monday, Police located human remains during a search of the Longview area.

The remains were recovered and an autopsy by the Calgary Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed they are that of Nick Lush.

Police say identification of the remains required dental and fingerprint comparison.
