Riverdance returns to Calgary with new generation of dancers in 30th anniversary show
Riverdance is returning to Calgary in 2025 to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
Riverdance 30 – The New Generation opens in Calgary for five shows starting June 27 at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Audtorium, the first time the iconic dance show has been to the city since 2018.
A fusion of Irish and international dance and music, Riverdance features Grammy Award-winning music blended with choreography that has turned the show into a global phenomenon, including performing for U.S. President Joe Biden and Speaker Nancy Pelosi, appearances on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Good Morning America and on America’s Got Talent, among many others.
Riverdance 30 features a new generation of performers, none of whom were born when the original Riverdance premiered 30 years ago.
Tickets for Riverdance 30 – The New Generation go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. MST via Ticketmaster and Broadway Across Canada.
Tickets are also on sale for upcoming 2025 Broadway Across Canada productions of Tina: The Tina Turner Musical and Six.
