Calgary police have released a composite sketch of a man wanted in connection with two child luring incidents.

The first incident took place at about 8:00 a.m. on Monday, December 12. A girl was walking along Tuscany Ravine Road N.W. when a white van stopped near her and the driver offered to give her a ride to school. She declined and continued walking, and later told her parents what had happened.

Later the same day at approximately 4:20 p.m. another girl was walking in the alley between Covehaven Court and Covehaven View N.E., when she was approached by a white van. The driver offered candies to the girl, who ran home and told her parents.

The driver is described as:

  • Caucasian man
  • 20 to 30 years old
  • Long, curly, light-brown hair
  • Heavy set
  • Facial acne
  • Wearing prescription glasses, mesh baseball cap worn backwards, white T-shirt

The van is described as:

  • White utility/construction van
  • Tinted back windows
  • No logos
