Two bodies found in burned out home in Vulcan

Police are investigating the deaths of two people who were discovered in the wreckage of a Vulcan home that was heavily damaged in a fire on Monday morning.

Crews were called to a house fire in the area of Centre Street between 3^rd and 5^th Avenues at about 7:00 a.m.

Firefighters doused the blaze at the single-family home and located the bodies of two people in the debris.

There is no word yet on the identities of the deceased and autopsies have been scheduled at the Calgary Medical Examiner’s Office for Tuesday.

Provincial fire investigators and RCMP are working to determine a cause for the fire.
