Cold weather has made its way back into Alberta Friday. Expect overnight temperatures across souther Alberta to reach the minus low to mid-teens with wind chills approaching -20, while central regions will feel slightly colder. Light snow is also expected with up to 5 cm by Saturday morning when clouds begin to clear. Areas along the foothills may receive 5-10 cm. Beyond that, Saturday remains cold with more settled conditions. The cold snap is short-lived as an upper ridge moves in bringing in a stretch of warmer weather. By Sunday, daytime highs get above freezing once again.
