A new report says that Calgary's West LRT project is behind schedule and $35M over budget.
Councillor Andre Chabot says the main issue is the $61M cost for the 45 St. underpass.
Chabot says the money to pay for it wasn't allocated separately and the money now needs to come from a contingency fund set up within the budget.
The targeted completion date was set for December 2012, but the report also shows that it's a lot more likely the West LRT will be done the following spring.
