More wild horses have been found shot to death near Sundre.

The latest discovery was made on Tuesday just east of the Red Deer River ranger station.

A pregnant mare, young stud and a yearling colt were found dead.

RCMP officers are now investigating the shootings.

The Wild Horses of Alberta Society is also offering a $10,000 reward for anyone that provides information to RCMP that leads to an arrest.

It is a criminal code offence to shoot a wild horse.

Over the past few years, dozens of wild horses have been found shot in the area.

Anyone with information about the shootings is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
