The Calgary Folk Music Festival is an auditory adventure featuring over 70 icons and upstarts from 16 countries performing on 11 stages in 120 distinct concert and collaborative programming performances to daily audiences of 12,000.

The 2015 Festival includes Father John Misty, Lucinda Williams, The Mavericks, John Butler Trio, Esperanza Spalding, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Patrick Watson, Lake Street Dive, Shakey Graves, Richard Thompson, The Budos Band, Steep Canyon Rangers, The Strumbellas and many more.

Like a mini town for a glorious long weekend, it boasts an interactive family area, talk tent with spoken word and comedy, an international artisan market, global culinary delights, a record tent and a tree-shaded beer garden.

It’s a magical place full of musical exploration and community where carefree innovators, history makers and diverse voices and genres from across the globe thrill your ears and hearts. It’s friendly, far out, evolving and unpredictable with many once-in-a-lifetime moments.
