RCMP is investigating a serious crash on Highway 1 west of Calgary that sent two people to hospital.
The crash occurred at about midnight.
Police say that a vehicle was driving east in the westbound lanes of the highway when it crashed head-on into an SUV.
The driver and the lone passenger fled the scene, but police and K9 tracked them down.
Both drivers involved suffered minor injuries.
Charges are pending.
